Airport Coach or Bus - All UK airports have local bus services, so be sure to check out the timetables in your area for connections.  This is a great option if you live close to the airport and on a bus route.  It is also a very 'green' and inexpensive option.

Coaches operate nationally to most major airports such as Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh from most UK towns and cities with many stopping points for pick ups.  These are operated by companies such as National Express and Easy bus.

Coach and bus services will drop you at the airport bus station or outside the terminal and will have designated stops.

Plane - The UK domestic market has grown rapidly and there are services from many local airports to gateways such as Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.  Use our flights search to search for the best fares.

    London Airports - Arrival Information

It will take a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes from the time your flight lands for you to exit the airport. If you do not have a European passport it will take between 45 to 60 minutes to clear airport formalities. If however you are only carrying cabin luggage and hold a European passport you could be out in 10 to 15 minutes of landing. If you are a student and will be staying for more than 6 months there are additional medical formalities. If you do not have the necessary documents it could take well in excess of 2 hours to exit the airport.
If you are arriving for a cruise holiday and you require a transfer from one of the London airports Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted or Luton or even if you wish to spend a few days exploring the great London city and require to be transported to either Dover, Southampton, Harwich or even the central London cruise terminals, British airport cars can provide this service. Just as in transportation to and from the Airports journey times will be extended during the morning and evening rush hours.
